ShieldSync
For families

Your memories, kept at home.

Keep the family's photos, papers and school work on every computer in the house, privately and without a monthly fee.

At home

One folder, every computer in the house.

Shared family folders

Make a "Holiday 2026" folder on your laptop and it appears on the family computer, at full quality, no links to send.

Works on your own Wi-Fi

Your computers sync directly over your home network. No account needed, and nothing leaves the house unless you want it to.

Private by design

Nobody scans your photos to build profiles or train models. If you use the cloud, everything is encrypted before it leaves.

A family photo folder in ShieldSync, the same on every computer it syncs to.

Phone apps are coming soon. We are building ShieldSync for iPhone and Android now. Until then, phones can open anything you share with a guest link, right in the browser.
An old computer, a new job

Turn a spare computer into the family hub.

Got an old desktop with a big hard drive? Install ShieldSync and leave it on. It keeps a full copy of the family folders, so a laptop that was away catches up the moment it is home again.

  • Every copy is an ordinary folder you can open
  • Anything deleted by mistake waits in Deleted first
  • Add the cloud later for an off-site copy: 5 GB free
Beyond the house

Share an album with someone far away.

Invite them by email and choose whether they can view or edit. They need a free ShieldSync account, and the folder appears on their computer under your name.

Invite by email, and see who has accepted.
