We are building the phone apps now. Until they are ready, a phone can open anything you share with a guest link, right in its browser.

Getting started

Up and running in three steps.

01

Install it

Run the installer on your computer. ShieldSync starts in the tray and asks which folder to keep in sync.

02

Choose a folder

Pick a folder, or make a new workspace. Nothing is moved; your files stay ordinary files.

03

Add your other computer

Install it there too. On the same network the two find each other and start syncing, no account needed.

ShieldSync once it is set up: your workspaces on the left, their files on the right.
The ShieldSync app on Windows: the Studio workspace with its folders and files, each synced.
A warning on first install is expected for now. The installers are not code-signed yet, so Windows may show “Windows protected your PC” (choose More info, then Run anyway) and macOS may refuse to open it (right-click the app, choose Open). We will sign them before the public launch.

Want the cloud as well?
5 GB is free.

Sign in from the app to keep an encrypted copy off-site and reach computers that are far away.
