The sync engine
Cuts your files into pieces, locks each one, and moves them between your computers.
ShieldSync is designed, built and run by me, Muhammed Alsabban, in Denmark. The promise is the one I wanted for my own files: they stay yours, and nobody else can read them. Not even me.

I had plenty of storage on my own computers, yet I could not keep them in sync without routing everything through an expensive, slow cloud server halfway across the world.
Most of the time, my devices were in the same room. Why not connect them directly?
So I built ShieldSync: completely private syncing across your own network, with the convenience of a cloud that is encrypted so only you can read it. You get the tools; you decide where your data lives.
ShieldSync has no employees. I design and build all of it myself, and when you write in, I am the one who answers.
Cuts your files into pieces, locks each one, and moves them between your computers.
One app for Windows, macOS and Linux, built into File Explorer and Finder.
A store that only ever holds locked pieces, and the relays that connect computers far apart.
Including the dashboard where you manage your account, devices and plan.
Your files belong to you. Not to advertisers, not to big tech, and not to me.
Devices on the same network sync directly, at the speed of your own network instead of your internet connection.
Your files stay ordinary files in ordinary folders. Stop using ShieldSync tomorrow and nothing is locked in.
