Política de uso aceptable
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the rules and guidelines for using ShieldSync. By using our Services, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in the immediate termination of your Cloud Pro account and public link privileges.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not use ShieldSync's public link sharing or Cloud Pro infrastructure to store, transmit, or distribute:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
- Malware, ransomware, or malicious code designed to disrupt networks.
- Copyrighted material for which you do not hold the distribution rights (Piracy).
- Content that promotes terrorism, violence, or illegal acts under Danish and EU law.
Zero-Knowledge Disclaimer
Because ShieldSync uses client-side, end-to-end encryption, we cannot proactively scan, view, or monitor the contents of your files. We rely entirely on user reports to identify public share links that violate this policy. We cannot delete files from your local P2P devices, but we can and will disable offending public URLs and terminate access to our Cloud Pro relay servers.
2. Copyright Infringement (DMCA & EUCD)
ShieldSync complies with the EU Copyright Directive and respects the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe a public ShieldSync link hosts content that infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice.
How to submit a Takedown Notice:
Send an email to abuse@shieldsync.dk containing:
- The exact ShieldSync public URL (`share.shieldsync.dk/...`) hosting the infringing content.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
3. Local P2P Exclusion
Files synced directly between your own devices over your Local Area Network (LAN) using our open-source P2P protocol do not touch ShieldSync servers. We have no technical ability to moderate, view, or restrict local network traffic.
